DACHI BEAUTY LLC dba Dachi Nails & Spa ("Dachi Nails & Spa", "we", "us") operates the nail salon at 1405 NE Broadway St, Portland, OR 97232 and the website dachinails.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, book an appointment online, join our membership and loyalty program, use our gift cards, or receive text messages from us, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

Online booking: your name, mobile phone number, the service, date and time you choose, and any note you add.
Membership and loyalty program: your name, phone number and (optionally) birthday, your visit history, services purchased, amounts spent and loyalty points.
Gift cards and member cards: card balance and transaction history linked to the card.
Text messaging: your SMS consent choice, when and how it was given, and the delivery status of our messages (see Section 9).

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our server and hosting providers may log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the website secure and working. We do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To schedule, confirm and manage your appointments.
To run our membership and loyalty program, including recording visits and points and recognizing your birthday.
To process payments, gift cards and member card balances in the salon.
To send text messages you agreed to receive, such as appointment reminders and promotions (see Section 9).
To answer your questions, improve our services and protect our salon and website against fraud and abuse.

3. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as access-restricted staff accounts, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and regular backups, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to staff who need it.

4. Data Retention

We keep booking, membership, loyalty and gift card records for as long as you are a customer and as needed for our business, tax and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your membership information at any time (see Section 8).

5. Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to run our business, such as website hosting, Google Maps on our contact page, and a text messaging provider to deliver SMS. They may only process your information to provide those services to us. Our website may link to other sites (for example Google Maps or social media); their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

6. Children's Privacy

Our website and online booking are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. Appointments for children should be booked by a parent or guardian.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated policy is posted on this page with a new effective date.

8. Your Choices

Access, correction and deletion: you may ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by calling (971) 407-7507 or asking at the front desk.
Text messages: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.
Membership: joining the membership and loyalty program is optional.

9. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

What we collect: your mobile phone number, your name, the date, time, source and wording of your consent, and the delivery status of messages we send you.
How we use it: only to send the text messages you chose: appointment confirmations and reminders, and (only if you separately opted in to marketing texts) promotions, loyalty point updates and birthday rewards from Dachi Nails & Spa.
How you opt in: on our online booking form at dachinails.com/book-appointment there are two separate, optional checkboxes, both unchecked by default: one for appointment confirmations and reminders, and one for marketing messages. Marketing consent is never combined with any other consent. You can also agree in person at the front desk.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book and receive services without agreeing to receive texts.
Message frequency: appointment texts up to 3 msgs per appointment; marketing texts up to 4 msgs/month. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT). You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to re-subscribe.
